I don't compete but I would say ANY kind of wild game, done well, would perk up some judges. Also, probably the all around best 2 steaks I could recommend serving would be flap or hanger steaks. 2 of the "butcher cuts" that have gained ground but still quietly sit below other more popular cuts. I'll take a hanger steak or flap steak over a rib-eye ANY day! Hugely more beefy in flavor!!!!
