I have heard of three new books that bbq fans may want to look into. I have read none of these but plan to at least take a closer look at them.If anyone else has books please chime in.
First, Michael Pollan has a new book called "Cooked" and there is a chapter on bbq. Evidently he spent some time cooking a whole hog, not sure what else, and was taught by some bbq cooks but I do not know who they are. This book has received a lot of favorable publicity.
Second, Peter Kaminsky has a new book called Bacon Nation. He helped with the Seven Fires book on bbq in Argentina which I love, cowrote Adam Perry Lang's last book Charred and Scruffed, and wrote Pig Nation.
Third I see that the iQUE team has a new book called Wicked Good Burgers. I have their first book think it is called Wicked Good BBQ.
