I promised my daughter I would smoke a whole 100lb pig for her graduation party. I have a large smoker but it's converted old commerical oven that has an inside of 45" tall x 24" wide x 26" deep. So I have more room up and down than side to side. I was thinking of hanging the pig by the hook that is on the top of the smoker but I can not find anyone that has done that before. My thought was that I wrap it in chicken wire can hang it face down for half the time and than turn it around and hang it face up for half the time. What does anyone think?
