Look over this site. BIG long list of rubs to confuse you but, you'll get a good feel of ratios for rubs with multiple ingredients. Lots of other good stuff here to, takes a lot of the mystery and experimenting out of the mix and focuses things quicker with a decent frame of reference.
Lots of googling can get you a lot, search for "bbq rub ratio formulations" and you'll get tons of stuff!!
