There is absolutely no reason for anyone that lives in Central Texas, Austin in particular, to wait in line for good barbecue. I read that the popular joint in Taylor has been "discovered" and now has long lines similar to the lines at Franklin's in Austin. We are "blessed" with many good places to eat barbecue in Austin without standing in line. Some people seem to think if there is a long line, it must be the best, like some people think the product that cost the most must be the best product. It pays to shop around.
