Marinade is optional, but needs to take a while since this is a dense cut. My favorite way to cook one is reverse sear: Bathe it in warm smoke at low temp for a while then grill over very high heat until it is medium/medium-rare. Be very sparing with any rub but a light sprinkle of Montreal Steak or just some salt and pepper is good. Slice very thinly across the grain for some great eats!
