GRRRR. After cooking them about six hours on low in the slow cooker, they were not tender, so I turned them up on high and didn't check them again until they were over-cooked. They were edible, but not as juicy as they would have been if I had taken care of business. Had a bunch of them left over, so we'll use some to make fajitas, with sour cream, salsa, graded cheese, to moisten them up. Also plan to use some for sandwiches with mayo and horseradish sauce. Maybe more sandwiches, chopped with barbecue sauce and a slice of onion. Hope to do a better time next time, but I'll buy short rigs next time. Thanks for your help.
