LOL - I'm gettin' up early to take care of a few things and I thought I'd check-out what's up at "the forum." And, wouldn't you know it, I saw a name I've always respected, "MaryAnn."
I'm now cooking BBQ for large groups and I owe my limited skills to the folks on this forum. Don't take the advice you provide lightly because some of us really wish to get beyond "tarball chickens" and actually serve a quality product.
Thanks Ray, for providing a forum where this BBQ newbie could elevate his skills and learn to feed family and friends with BBQ they will enjoy.
My child is about to go to Clemson and a local group is having a send-off for the new students (and a bunch of alums). I've been selected (told) to cook the BBQ and that they want some Carolina BBQ at the shindig.
Does this mean vinegared-pork and mustard sauce? I'm all about Alabama red sauce :).
