I can't say it's become the norm...at least not yet. Frankly, we Reps try to encourage organizers to seat the judges tent ahead of time. Doing so knocks +/- 10 minutes off the judges meeting and it doesn't fray judges or Reps' nerves. However, it takes an veteran organizer to pull it off, because newer organizers simply don't have the familiarity with their judges to know how to place them at tables. Besides, arranging the judging tent is a big and tedious job for organizers who already have a big job just putting the contest together. We Reps love it when it happens. John
