I think just half of the Kiwi would have been enough. What intrigued me was he says in the video that kiwi does not make the meat mushy while other fruit marinades like pineapple does. Of course as he mentioned the kiwi does add some new flavors. That would probably not be designable on like, a rib eye steak.
