Been on the same quest for a while and found that using "Squeal" rub in a cooker set at 250 with lite smoke yields great results. I have used this on my Smokin Tex and Mastercraft smokers and the results are very nice. Just don't hit them with to much smoke. The "Squeal" is good enough without adjustment.
