The only ones I would comment on are
Lockharts in Dallas: it received a one star with the comment that it proved that the art of BBQ was not an inherited trait. I do agree with this rating and comment.

Lexington BBQ: Grew up there and it was called Honey Monks originally. It was standard Lexington BBQ. Moved to the by-pass, changed their name and the quality went down. The last time I was there was not really good by Lexington standards but since it is on the main road, it gets a lot of tourist traffic and offer the local police free food. Locals go elsewhere.
