Yo to all, I really like these new score results that the KCBS has, especially the feature that shows the table numbers. Well, maybe not..... Check out the bottom of the page 11. The judges at table 17 must have had some terrible pork.

Out of the 531 pork entries turned in, table 17 "awarded" these places and scores for pork:

488 22.2628 24.5828 28.5600 28.5600 32.5828 30.8572 145.1428
521 20.5600 29.1544 26.8800 28.5600 22.2972 29.7372 136.6288
524 21.1200 21.1428 24.5600 29.1544 27.4172 31.4400 133.7144
528 20.0000 20.5600 24.0000 28.0000 28.5828 27.4172 128.5600
529 21.7028 20.0000 23.4172 21.7028 29.7028 25.7028 122.2284
530 22.8228 17.7028 14.2400 21.1200 24.0000 28.0000 113.6456

A couple more observations on this information. I am not familiar with most of these teams, but the top score at this table was Jerry King from Midland Texas. Jerry has been on the circuit for a long time and has numerous awards. The bottom finishing team in the pork category received a DQ score of 20.00. This means the bottom three finishers in pork were all from table 17.

What are the odds?

Beers for thought,

Juggy
