Being a Memphis boy now displaced to Florida, I agree that great "Q" does not belong to any one city. I will say that a "Memphis Style" BBQ sandwich is kind of unique and that is the first thing I eat when I get home. Usually from TOPS. When Corkeys moved to my home town, they even screwed up putting slaw and the sandwich, which if you don't do, it is not "Memphis Style". Corkeys is now history in the Jacksonville area.
It is amazing to me that these "experts" have a pretty good case of tunnel vision and it would be interesting to see how their "list" would compare to folks on this forum.
