Thanks for explaining that to me, you guys totally lost me. Clearly I didn't read the original question well enough or I would have understood.  I am excessive compulsive when it comes to safe food handling. I obviously had no idea what you were doing with the cotton gloves and I didn't want anyone pulling pork with dirty gloves. I am the kind of person that when I put latex gloves on I wash my gloved hands with dish soap before I touch the food. If I touch anything unwashed with the gloved hands, like a spice bottle, then I wash them again.

The cotton gloves covered with latex gloves doesn't seem to secure to me. I think if I ever needed good glove protection I would use something like Summit Gloves Fryer gloves. Summit is a long time advertiser of the forum.
