Good Evening All!!
I finally bit the bullet and after quite a few years complaining about my job and where I was at in life, I made a job change and am now in the Food and Beverage Management program at JCCC. I will also be taking quite a few culinary courses as electives as I cannot participate in the Chefs apprenticeship.
My question to you in the restaurant/catering world is will my degree going to make me over qualified? Qualified at all? Eventually, I would like to focus on having my own catering company but, as you all well know, you need to start somewhere for experience.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
