I know better than to step into this also, but I hear you. When the criteria for good scores weighs heavily on taste, well I guess you can see, what one judge thinks is too sweet, too hot,too salty,etc. can be a ways apart from another judge. That's with him/her leaving their own personal likes and dislikes at the door. How can you ever even out tables when it's hard to tell what the judge thought was offensive about the product, because that is the bulk of the score?
Yep, I'm with you, this might be the million dollar question...What is a good judge?
