You're welcome...I have read the Forum for several years and have gleaned a lot of information from this site. I, like you, would like a simpler remote but they all have their quirks. IGrill new mini app boasts it can read two devices at one time, however the mini only has one probe, wish is had two. But in the end it is not the gadget that counts, it is the process of the cook that matters.
