That recipe is at least fifteen years old and works good for rib tips, riblets and country style ribs as well. The only part of the recipe that has changed is I have added 1/4 cup of rub to the marinade. If you do decide to cook the marinaded pork steaks in the oven, make sure there is a pan below to catch the marinade and the rendered fat.
I love pork steaks, just like John in RVA, I cut my BBQ teeth on pork steaks.
