I'd wait until weather was warmer and the night before your grand opening invite the local mayor, police chief, sheriff, fire chief and of course their wives, folks from the chamber of commerce, local radio guys to see about live spot with promo giveaways, maybe invite local tv news folks. Personally I don't picture cowboys and pony rides a Georgia thing when bbq is involved. To me a greased pig catching gig would be interesting yet bad on pavement. ... On a tv show a while back a bbq place had a grand opening and they did some cooking outside and had one of those inflatable things kids jump around in. Only concern to me on that is liability if someone gets hurt. Everybody is sue happy. If weather is good get with local high school cheerleaders and do a carwash and let them do it for tips. Most of all let your food speak for itself.
