Ms. Claudia likes hers "burnt" just like Daddy used to BBQ chicken on the grill. I like mine smoked til the skin starts to get crispy and the color starts to darken. Ive never timed it. 2-3 beers ought to do it. (1 1/2 - 2 hrs?)
