Braided wire probes with 700* max temp on the wire. The area between the wire and probe has been factory sealed with rubber. It has a low end and upper end alarm, which will allow it to be used to monitor my FEC100 if I wanted.

It has a timer in the controller, which isn't a big deal to me. You can calibrate the controller with independent probes if you need/want to.

Like I mentioned earlier, you can hear the alarm from inside the trailer(92dB), it too can be raised or lowered in volume.

I didn't buy the Sous Vide needle point probe, but it's available.

One feature that really catches my eye, BIG numbers on read out. :) I'm starting to need that!

I only hope, that when I drop one, the alarm won't quit working like my Taylors have.
