I guess it depends on your cost for chicken and pork based on your location. We pay anywhere from .99/lb to 1.19/lb for pork and 1.28/lb to 1.38/lb for chicken. IMO, great prices for our locale.
Labor also needs to be factored into your specific meat choice. Personally, I'd rather pull 10 pork butts before I'd debone, de-skin and shred 5 whole cooked chickens. For us, chicken is way more labor intensive.
Our yield on pork is just shy of 60%.
