Get 3 quotes from different copackers.
One of the biggest mistake people make is poor artwork on their label. If it looks like a 8yr old drew it, people will think it tastes like an 8yr old made it.
Start small. Its not a get rich scheme.
Sell it to small local stores if you can. then branch out from there.
Everyone thinks they can get their sauces in a big chain like Publix or Kroger but that almost never happens. If it does, you better have 300K+ in the bank before hand to get the sauce made. And have an advertising budget near upwards of 50k a year if you want to do it right and not be out of business in a year.
Look to spend around 3k+ to get started for approx 100 gallons of product.
