I've been using them in my stove a lot more than in my smokers lately, and they've only been lasting six months or so before doing the "Lo" or "Hi" thing.
Tonight it failed mid-cook in a beef tenderloin, even after I covered the cable with aluminum foil.
I keep replacing them, either Polder or Taylor, but it's getting frustrating.
What is the "reset" button supposed to do? (Maybe next time I should save the instructions).
