The low cost units at Lowes, Sam's, etc. are also low end in both workmanship and material quality. They are basically non-repairable throw-aways when broken. There are no sources, that I am aware of, for spare parts. If you don't mind spending $300 every few years, then go for it but do consider that products from other manufactures are actually more cost effective.
As an example, I had a masterbuilt that lasted a little over a year. I bit the bullet and bought a used cookshack 070, refurbished it with a new keypad and some elbow grease and have been happy with it for the last five years.
I seem to remember that I paid $400 for it at a used restaurant equipment auction, contacted the manufacturer with the serial number and got some help and the part I needed for basically free.
