Hi,

a few days ago my bbq grilling noob boyfriend used citronella oil/ tiki torch fuel to ignite some charcoal briquettes in our new weber jumbo joe. Bad, yes, I know (especially since I have asthma)

I did not eat the food, needless to say, however the grill is now not lighting properly, even with predoused briquettes like matchlite. Could this be due to the oil? I feel that it is, however he, of course, disagrees.

also, what needs to be done to clean this grill? is it a total loss?
