I have been toying with the possibility of getting a concession trailer with a porch on the back but everyone that I have talked to say that it will not support the weight of my smoker (custom made by JP Custom Smoke) approx. 700 lbs. If I take it off the cart and add legs I could probably lose 175-200 lbs. They say that it will need to be custom made which equals more money. What I am hearing is that I cannot buy a used one because it will not have enough support on the back end for the smoker. Can these trailers not be reinforced if I was to buy a used one. What is the standard weight that a porch trailer can hold without buckling? I find it hard to believe that everyone that owns a porch trailer bought it brand new. Any help would be great as you can see I don't know much about trailer manufacturing.
