Don't think many folks cook 1/2 turkeys. I know you didn't ask for any other advice but.....I'd cook them whole, they are easier to slice. I would not inject with anything. and I would up your temp to 300 degrees as turkey is a lean meat. maybe 4 to 5 hours for a whole one at 300.
