I work in the shipping department of a factory and we use kiln dried southern yellow pine for crating. Therefore I have access to unlimited scrap pieces from cutting, so naturally I began taking some home and grilling with it. I am not smoking with it at all. I burn a pile of it down until all flames are extinguished and only charcoal remains, then the meat comes in contact.
