I have complained for a long time that I never could cook a good hamburger. That all started changing when I started grinding my own ground beef. But, this Sunday I was given the task of grilling some hamburgers and I did not have time to grind my own. So I went to the store and got some ground round.
I was real careful not to loosely make the hamburgers but before I made the hamburgers I seasoned the meat. Here is what I used:
A light dusting of each of the following.
Smoking Guns Hot Rub
Butchers Steak and brisket rub
Montreal steak seasoning.
Then I grilled them over charcoal with pecan wood. They turned out so good I had to share it with you. One of our guests even said it was the best hamburger he had ever eaten. Everyone liked them including myself. So you might give this spice mixture a try.
