Just thinking outside the box here, maybe the cook intended for you to taste the parsley with the meat rather than be a garnish. Taking the parsley off would be like removing the sauce or some other key part of the entry. Judges are told not to remove the skin from chicken so why would it be ok to remove the parsley or sauce. I say if it is stuck to the entry it should be eaten with it as the cooker intended.
