It's only been 8 years since I've had this recipe in my files, posted by DR Packer in 2006. Finally got around to making it.

I used just one bunch each of the greens, omitted the cabbage, and used a package of smoked turkey necks (which are WAY better than smoked pork hocks - leaner and not nearly as salty).

Simmered for 2 hours (not all day, for heavens sake!)

Served over rice, with fried green tomatoes and a corn English muffin. Excellent!
