This picture shows the light coming from the two 10 watt LED strips.

This set of pictures shows the 80 watt fluorescent on.  The picture on the left is with the LED lights off  and on in the right picture .

Left off right on

LED light strip the arrow points to the mini USB connection.  The light is held in place with three two inch double sided foam tape.

The arrow points to the 30 watt power supply that is plugged into the surge protector.  I turn the LED lights on and off with the on/off switch on the surge protector.  There is about a 2 second delay for the LED lights to come on with this set up because it takes that long for the power supply to come on.  You can leave the power supply turned on and add an on/off switch with no delay.  You can also add a on/off/dimmer switch they even sell different types of switches that come on when you open a door etc. The LED strips come with a Mini USB connector and on/off switch for each strip.

I tired a couple of other brands of LED strip but this is the best and brightest.  I bought everything from Amazon here is the link to the LED strips and this is the link to the power supply. The strip come in 12", 20" and 24 inch I used the 12 inch ones.  The power supply come in 30w, 60w and 150 watt.  The 12 inch strips draw about 12 watt per strip.  The light from these strips is very bright and is a warm white color, about 430 lumens for the 12 inch strip.  The Comments on Amazon are very helpful so be sure to read them all.  The power supply they sell is not UL listed you can buy other power supplies if this is not acceptable.  The light emitted is close to sunlight with out the blue light that damages stuff. Here is the link to  LED wholesalers. I used an 18 gauge wire to hook it all up.
