For me anyway, this is a new one. Google "cooking with hay" "chicken in hay" "pork in hay".... you get the idea. Someone on the Pizzamaking.com forum posted doing a whole chicken this way and swears by it. So I Googled it and WOW all kinds of recipes. Something new and different, so 4 large chicken leg/thigh 1/4s thawing out tonight, tomorrow will brine and cook tomorrow nite.
