Yo Paul, I guess we may not see each other this year........

I have waited a while to contemplate my thoughts on this. I was afraid I would overreact and go off half cocked.

This was to be my 27th year at the Royal. To be honest, the last few years I have been going simply because this is what I do the first weekend of October. I have spent over two months of my life sleeping ON the parking lot. Even though we have a trailer to sleep in, I always slept on the ground. I have several neighbors from the AR such as yourself, and the only time I ever see these friends is at the Royal. I always thought the spot our team had was one of the best spots at the contest. That is why we have been returning these last ten years; we didn't want to lose our spot.

I may go cook at Arrowhead, but it just won't have the same feel as the Royal. I do have a lot of good memories from the contests I have cooked there. I just hope I can find my old neighbors and share a beer with them.

Lager,

Juggy
