When I was about 12yo back in '67 or so my dad made a roaster pan full of doves and pigeons buried in a savory giblet dressing. Scoop in and falling apart birds and dressing with gravy and potatoes and homemade buns ma made. To this day one of the most memorable things I've sat in front of and ate til busting!!! Sure miss him!
