Checked the forum Search engine and, yes, cayenne was recommended.

I'd forgotten that.

I rarely use cayenne, since I don't think it adds flavor. I figure, if you want heat, might as well add to the taste while you're at it.

Other ground chili powders (chipotle, San Antonio, Chimayo, for ex.) have reasonable heat and a lot more flavor.
