I've cooked MANY a rib roast: oven, open fire spit, smoker all with great success.
I'm hoping for some specific advice on making a Crown Roast out of two complete rib roasts (14 ribs total).
Can it physically be done? Once the chine is removed can the two roasts be bent and tied to make a crown similar to a pork roast?
If it is possible how do you do things like sear it....I have a weed burner that I use to light and clean my smoker I'm thinking maybe I can sear with that?
I would not plan on stuffing it but I'm curious about how much the size of the roast would effect cook times. I have a smoker and oven that are both large and should be big enough I'm thinking start the roast on the smoker and finish in the oven.
does anyone have a picture of a crown roast make from beef rib roasts?
