Been asked to "cook" what was delivered and described to me only as a cured ham. Wrapped in gold foil, but no labels present. Have done a thousand butts on the smoker, but no real ham experience. Is it true that this product does not require full cooking? that people typically add a glaze and heat up to serving temp (over 140 internal)? Should I smoke or use oven? Do I need to soak to remove salt? Your thoughts on how to prepare this item? Thanks.
