My store bought rub is much too hot. The other flavors are just right. How do I fix it before I toss my wings with it? Should I mix 50% salt to 50% rub or should I pre salt the wings and just toss them in half the spice volume? If so what about coverage? What is the best solution for this problem? Tonight's dinner (7 pm PST) is at stake. Thanks for your wisdom.
