BBQ For The Newly Retired and Newly Lazy

It has been many years since this poor innocent gal posted a question here about what was the best gas grill. . . After the flames died down, I would up buying an Oklahoma Joe smoker and making some of the best bbq I could ever hope to eat! That was about 20 years or so ago. . .

Now that hubby and I have just retired, we're giving up the Joe and the tending necessary to it and going to rely on a WSM, a Big Green Thing We Used to Not Talk about on this forum, and a weber kettle (plus the other gas thing we didn't talk about here we have for people who want a "well done" steak that we don't have room for on the Green E thing).

Now we are thinking about a small electric cooker--like Cookshack or something. Any advice on this? Will what we cook on it be something good enough for 2 very spoiled BBQers who are just wanting to cook occasionally for a few friends and not have to monitor the activities of the Oklahoma Joe style cookers?

I know the people on this forum give THE best, and over the years I have many times smiled and marveled from what I learned here and the friends I made. Thanks to all and especially to Ray!
