I live down here in Florida. When I cook in whatever region I happen to be in I like to invent foods that have ingredients from that particular region into them. So Bee Sting is a bbq sauce that is predominantly oranges and honey with a wee bit of heat. We have a lot of honey made here. It's "smallish" chunky with orange pieces but it is also on the runny side viscosity wise. So I'll inject the orange sauce into a bird and put some into the beer can as well. Butter under the skin and let it go till near the end and then I'll paint the chunky stuff on the bird. Good eats. I do these a lot. Have fun with your brisket cook and have a great 4th!
