I have done short ribs, chuck, pork shank, chicken.....have pretty much ran the gamut. It is not the end all, be all, but a great cooking tool at under 200 bucks. They used to be 2000 for the pro models that have been around for years but now the home goof can take advantage of a fun cooking tool. I'd recommend one to anyone. A good vacuum sealer should also be available for longer cooks for safety reasons, some will argue that point.
