This is just my own opinion, but I would cut WAY back on the granulated onion. Too much of that and I think it would give you a bitter taste and throw your sugars off? Again, just me. If you are doing mostly chicken and your wife isn't allergic to it a little ground thyme or powdered sage goes nicely with it. Good luck.
