Do knot want to start a chevy vs ford thing going here. Traeger was one of the first to make pellet grills, they have several different sizes. Including a tabletop model that I use to take camping with the travel trailer. It's great for a couple steaks, a tritip, 4 burgers etc. Too small for pork butts or whole brisket. You can usually find the medium or larger ones at Costco if you are a member. The nice thing about buying one at Costco is that you can try it out and if you don't like it you can take it back. As far as amount of pellets used I find the cost about the same as buying charcoal for a webber kettle.
