All I do to a steak is add a little bit of ground pepper and just a little bit of Fleur de sel sea salt before I start eating. Fleur de sel as a finishing seasoning is incredible. I recently had a 4 oz Filet Mignon from Omaha Steaks that was so good I could not believe it and all I did to it was a couple grinds of pepper and not much more than a pinch of Fleur de sel and I cooked it in a skillet.
