Brisket holding question

I'm smoking a brisket on Christmas eve to take to a dinner on Christmas day.After cooking should I slice it and put into a pan with juices and refrigerate or should I leave it whole and heat the next day and then slice it around dinner time.Also whats the best temp for re-heating the next day ?
