I'm 35, married with a 2 1/2 year old son (and hoping to adopt again soon). I'm not so much into barbequing (as it's defined on this board) as grilling...but we grill our dinner four-six times a week during the summer months.
I'm using a Char-Griller setup with iron grates. It's not the Cadillac machine some of you folks are using, but it's a major step-up from the Sunbeam little grill (that I bought at Sears) I used successfully for seven years.
I'm still learning how to cook with a grill that ge ts hot (compared to what I'm used to) and that retains heat in the grate (again, compared to what I'm used to). Not much into smoking or indirect cooking yet, but I'm starting to get more interested :)
